GREENWOOD, Ind. – Franklin College senior middle hitter Amanda Lelivelt capped off a stellar playing career in 2017 and once again, the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) took note.
For the third time in her career, the Chippewa Falls, Wis.-native has been named All-HCAC. The conference released its annual all-conference squads on Wednesday afternoon.
Lelivelt closed out her senior season with 180 kills and led the Grizzlies with a .296 attacking percentage and 73 blocks while starting all 25 matches. She added 32 digs and 15 service aces on the year, and her 249.5 points was tops among all Franklin players.
Lelivelt adds her 2017 All-HCAC selection to the first team selections she received in 2015 & 2016, as well as her nomination to the conference's All-Freshman Team back in 2014. She closed out her career with 914 kills, 342 total blocks, 64 service aces and 199 digs.
Junior Gab Arthur was also among those recognized by the league on Wednesday, earning a spot on the HCAC All-Sportsmanship Team. Arthur finished the year with 112 kills, a .181 attacking percentage and 160 digs over 15 matches.
