Volleyball Hosting Bluffton on Dig Club Appreciation Day

Franklin, Ind. - The Franklin College volleyball team seeks to continue its winning ways inside the Spurlock Center when it hosts Bluffton University on Saturday, October 15 at 2 p.m. during the program's Dig Club Appreciate Day.

The Grizzlies have won five straight home matches.

Franklin stands 12-9 on the season and is 2-3 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) play. Bluffton is one of three undefeated teams in league play with a 4-0 mark.

Junior Brooke Harvey leads the team with 160 kills, while junior Amanda Lelivelt ranks second with 158 kills. Freshman Jenna Spini has recorded 103 kills and classmate Kennedy Surface rounds out the balanced attack with 89 kills.

Senior Ashley Bazier is tops on the team with 359 assists and averaging 5.13 assists per set. She ranks second on the team with 198 digs. Freshman Nico Morris has tallied 270 assists and 163 digs during her first collegiate season.

Sophomore Libby Stahl leads the team with 323 digs and averaging 4.89 digs per set this fall. Senior Sarah Labra has also surpassed 100 or more digs with 105 digs.
