Franklin, Ind. - The Franklin College volleyball team seeks to get back in the win column when it hosts Anderson University during Homecoming on Saturday, October 8 at 7:30 p.m. from the Spurlock Center.
The Grizzlies stand 11-8 on the season and are 1-2 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference following Wednesday's road league loss to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Franklin had won three consecutive matches prior to Wednesday's match.
Three players have recorded 95 or more kills for the season during the team's balanced offensive attack. Junior Brooke Harvey has posted a team-high 143 kills, while junior Amanda Lelivelt follows closely behind with 139 kills. Lelivelt leads the team with 62 blocks.
Sophomore Libby Stahl leads the team's defensive effort with 311 digs and is averaging 4.94 digs per set. Senior Ashley Bazier ranks second on the team with 175 digs, while freshman Nico Morris has posted 151 digs.
Bazier is averaging 5.17 assists per set and has tallied 326 assists this fall. Morris has helped distribute the offensive attack with 244 assists and four assists per set.
