Volleyball Opens HCAC Play at Manchester on Saturday

Franklin, Ind. - The Franklin College volleyball team begins its Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference schedule with a road contest against Manchester University on Saturday, September 24 at 1 p.m. from North Manchester, Indiana.

The Grizzles, 8-6 on the season, are coming off a sweep inside the Spurlock Center against Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College on Wednesday.

Junior Brooke Harvey is currently leading the team's offensive attack after the game against SMWC with 97 kills recorded on the season. Junior Amanda Lelivelt has added 90 kills on the season.

Sophomore Gab Arthur tied for team-high honors with six kills on Wednesday. She is one of six players with 51 or more kills on the season. Sophomore Sydney Stuckwisch ranks third on the team with 66 kills, while freshman Jenna Spini has recorded 60 kills.

Senior Ashley Bazier and freshman Nico Morris each distribute the offensive attack with 150 or more assists. Bazier leads the team with 213 assists and is tied for second defensively with 116 digs. Junior Lauren Harmon has also registered 116 digs.

Sophomore Libby Stahl is currently leading the team with 228 digs and averaging 5.07 digs per set.
