Women's Track Finishes 6th at HCAC Indoor Championships: Several Earn All-Conference Honors

TERRE HAUTE, IND. (February 18, 2017) - Franklin College women's track finished sixth in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Championships Saturday at Rose-Hulman.

Senior Erica Christy finished second in the shot put earning all-conference in the event while also posting a fifth place finish in the weight throw.

Sophomore Kelsey Bolwing rebreaks her triple jump record which earned her a third place finish and all-conference honors. Bolwing also took fifth in the 60m hurdles and the women's long jump.

Taylor McDaniel posted a fifth place finish the 60m Dash as a freshman.

Sarah Miller made her mark in her first appearance as a freshman at the HCAC Indoor Championships. Miller broke the school record in the 200m dash and finished second in the event which earned her all-conference honors. The freshman also finished sixth in the 60m dash and was a part of the fifth place 4x400 meter relay team.
