Franklin, Ind. - The Franklin College women's swimming and diving team has been honored for classroom success with selection to the Scholar All-America team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
The Grizzlies posted a team 3.22 grade point average (GPA) during the 2015 fall semester. The organization honors teams compiling a 3.0 or higher team GPA during the academic semester.
The CSCAA was founded in 1922 and is the oldest professional organization of college coaches in America.
In the pool, Franklin's women's swimming and diving team had a 10-1-1 dual meet record during the 2015-16 season. The team placed second at the 2016 Liberal Arts Championships, and took top honors at the Heartland Invitational and the Colonel Classic at Centre College.
