Franklin Set to Meet Arcadia in First Ever NCAA Tournament Match

FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin College women's soccer learned who they will face off with in the program's first ever NCAA Tournament match when the 64-team bracket was announced during Monday afternoon's selection show.

Franklin will head east for their opening round showdown to take on the Knights of Arcadia University this coming Saturday (Nov. 11). The game will take place on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pa.

The Grizzlies (14-4) earned their spot in the field of 64 this past Saturday night, closing out their first-ever Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) tournament championship with a 2-0 win over Mount St. Joseph.

Arcadia (15-5) locked up their second straight national tournament bid this past weekend by winning the MAC Commonwealth tournament for the first time in program history.

Awaiting the winner of the Franklin-Arcadia match will be the victor of the Carnegie Mellon-Farmingdale State showdown.
