RECAP | Grizzlies Take Part in Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling

NORMAL, Ill. – The Franklin College women's golf team continued their spring season this weekend, taking part in the Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling, hosted by Illinois Wesleyan University.

Facing off against an 18-team field, the Grizzlies took 15th overall with a team score of 750 (366-384). Topping the Franklin leaderboard was freshman Jaley Schlosser, whose 179 (87-92) gave her a share of 59th place for the weekend. Right behind her was senior Hannah White, who tied for 61st place with a 181 (88-93).

Freshman Megg Hensler earned a tie for 80th with a 191 (93-98) while juniors Hannah Sharkey (98-101) and Sami Roberts (108-106) took 83rd and 88th places, respectively.

Franklin will be back on the links on Saturday, Apr. 21, for day one of the Franklin Spring Invitational, held at The Legends Golf Course in Franklin, Ind.
