Grizzly Swimming and Diving Teams Earn CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Franklin College men's and women's swimming and diving teams collected Scholar All-America Team honors from the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), when the institution announced the 2019 spring semester recipients on Tuesday (Jun. 25) morning.

The Grizzlies part of 480 institutions across all three NCAA divisions to earn the annual team award, which is awarded bi-annually to teams that finished with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the spring semester. Both teams collected their second team honor from the CSCAA for 2018-19, as both were named Scholar All-America teams for the 2018 fall semester.

The Grizzly women combined for a 3.31 grade point average during the spring semester while the men closed out the academic year with a 3.21 GPA.

Founded in 1922, the CSCAA – the first organization of college coaches in America – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
