FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin men's tennis team continued their abbreviated fall schedule on Sunday (Sept. 15), taking on Indiana-Southeast at Mickel-Hoover Tennis Complex.
The Grizzlies (0-2) fell victim to the Grenadiers (1-0), dropping a 9-0 contest to their NAIA foes. Doubles play saw the Grizzlies capture just two points from IU-Southeast while the Grenadiers took five of the six singles matches in straight sets. Franklin's No. 4, Josh Stewart, was the lone Grizzly to push a singles match to three sets.
Franklin has two weeks off before their next match of the fall, when they travel north to take on HCAC rival Anderson University in a non-conference match. First serve is set for noon.
