FRANKLIN – Playing their second of three fall matches on Sunday afternoon, the Franklin College men's tennis team welcomed Indiana-Southeast to the Mickel Hoover Tennis Complex.
The Grizzlies (1-1) were blitzed by the Grenadiers (1-0) on Sunday, with the visitors taking an 8-1 decision over the Grizzlies.
The visitors conceded just four points in doubles play to take an early 3-0 lead. The Grenadiers captured each of the first five singles matches in straight sets, with Franklin's lone point coming courtesy of a Zach Lester win at No. 6 singles play.
Franklin will complete their brief fall schedule on Sunday, Oct. 8. The Grizzlies will be on their home courts once again, taking on Oakland City University. First serve from Mickel-Hoover is set for 11:00 a.m.
