Montgomery, Ala. - The Franklin College men's golf team recorded an eighth-place finish in the two-day Huntingdon Invitational. The tournament featured six teams currently ranked in the top 35 in the NCAA Division III rankings.
The Grizzlies compiled a 655 team score over the 36-hole event.
Sophomore Sam Pollock (Terre Haute, Ind./Terre Haute North) finished tied for 32nd-place individually. He shot a career-best round of 75 during Monday's opening round. Pollock shot a 158-stroke total for the tournament.
Senior Chris Arnold (Quincy, Ind./Cloverdale) followed closely behind with a 161 composite score. The total included a 79-stroke score in Tuesday's final round. Arnold finished in 42nd place individually.
Senior Joshua Rhoads (Batesville, Ind./Batesville) tallied an 81 score in the final round to tie for 49th place.
