Cincinnati, Ohio - The Franklin College men's golf team opened the spring season with an 11th-place finish at the Mount ST. Joseph Invitational over the weekend.
Sophomore Sam Pollock (Terre Haute, Ind./Terre Haute North) carded a 79-stroke score to lead the Grizzlies during Sunday's final round.
Franklin compiled a 689 team score over the 36-hole event.
Senior Joshua Rhoads (Batesville, Ind./Batesville) shot identical rounds of 86 for the tournament.
Franklin returns to action at the Huntingdon Invitational at Montgomery, Alabama from March 30-31. Both rounds begin at 9 a.m.
