Anderson, Ind. - The Franklin College men's golf team finished fifth at the Anderson Invitational over the weekend at the Anderson Country Club.
The Grizzlies compiled a 623 score over the 36-hole event. The team shot two consistent rounds of 311 and 312.
Individually, senior Chris Arnold (Quincy, Ind./Cloverdale) tied for seventh place with a 150 composite score. He shot a 74 during Saturday's opening round.
Senior Joshua Rhoads (Batesville, Ind./Batesville) also finished tied for seventh place after carding two 75-stroke scores.
Freshman Dominique Schildknecht (Batesville, Ind./Batesville) shot a one-over-par 73 on Saturday and finished tied for 12th place with a 151 score. Sophomore Sam Pollock (Terre Haute, Ind./Terre Haute North) rounded out the strong efforts with a 17th-place finish.
The Grizzlies will host the Dick Park Invitational from Sunday, September 21 through Monday, September 22 at The Legends Golf Club in Franklin.
