Brian Lebowitz joins the Franklin College men’s basketball coaching staff after a successful four-year playing career at Kenyon College (Ohio) from 2011-14.
Lebowitz was a three-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference player and was selected team captain for his senior and junior seasons. He finished his college career with 1,274 points, 754 rebounds, 162 blocked shots and 100 steals. His 162 blocked shots are the most in Kenyon’s program history.
As a senior, Lebowitz averaged 15.2 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. The forward/center scored 28 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in a Senior Day game against Wabash College. He tallied nine double-digit rebounding performances in 2013-14, including 14 rebounds against DePauw University.
Lebowitz earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Kenyon in 2014. He was named to the college’s Merit List on four occasions, while also being a recipient of the National Association of Basketball Coaches’ Honors Court Team.
