Vinny Trivisonno enters his second season as the pitching coach for the Franklin College baseball team. He joined coaching staff as the team's pitching coach in August 2015.

During the 2016 season, Trivisonno mentored three HCAC honorable mention pitchers Hayden Cleveland, Christian Sullivan, and Jacob McMain. 

Trivisonno comes to the Grizzlies after a two-year stint as a member of the coaching staff at John Carroll University, where he helped lead the Blue Streaks to the 2014 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) tournament championship and an appearance in the 2014 NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Tournament. Most recently, Trivisonno coached the 2015 OAC Pitcher of the Year and Mideast Region Pitcher of the Year, Drew Doring. Two members of the 2015 squad earned ABCA Mideast Region honors, Doring and Bobby Sabatino. Doring was also named second-team ABCA All-American.

He was a member of John Carroll's pitching staff from 2009-13 and earned Academic All-OAC honors before moving to the coaching ranks.

Trivisonno spent the 2015 summer as the pitching coach for the Geneva Twins of the New York Collegiate Baseball League. He coached third base for the club and mentored the 2015 NYCBL Reliever of the Year (Kyle Monk, Emory University).

The 2013 graduate from John Carroll received a bachelor of arts degree in physical education and graduated Cum Laude and was a member of the school's Dean's List. He is currently persuing his masters degree in sports leadership and management at Concordia University Chicago.
