FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Franklin College baseball team continued their lengthy road trip on Tuesday (Apr. 23) afternoon, heading north for a pair of contests against NAIA in-state foe St. Francis Unviersity (Ind.)
The Grizzlies (21-11) picked up their third and fourth wins in the last two days, sweeping the Panthers (13-36). Freshman Nick Elmendorf tossed a complete game shutout in the opener and Sam Claycamp knocked in a pair of runs with two doubles in a 3-0 win in the seven inning affair.
Game two saw the Grizzlies get four scoreless innings from Tanner Nicholson and six scoreless frames total from the bullpen in a 10-3 victory. Alex Mis and Brandt Pawley drove in two runs each in the game and Ryan Bixler plated two with a triple, scored three times and reached base in five plate appearances.

Franklin jumps back into conference play on Saturday (Apr. 27) afternoon, heading to Cincinnati, Ohio for two games against the Mount St. Joseph Lions. First pitch of game one is set for noon.
