Franklin, Ind. - Franklin College junior Jameson Brock (Noblesville, Ind./Noblesville) was named to the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) all-tournament team for his strong efforts last week. The outfielder batted .750 (8-for-12) in the two games at Manchester University.
Brock collected a season-best five hits in last Friday's 12-inning contest against Anderson University. He scored three runs and drove in another three runs in the contest. Defensively, he made a diving catch that help send the game into extra innings.
The outfielder recorded three hits and had a double in the opening-round game against Manchester.
For the season, Brock batted .409 with 76 hits, 40 runs scored, 19 doubles and 31 runs batted in from the leadoff spot in the batting order.
Franklin posted a 24-17 record and qualified for its seventh straight HCAC tournament.
