The Franklin College sports information office is directed by Ryan Thomas ( with the help of several student assistants and interns at Franklin.

The sports information director (SID) is responsible for the following:
-Statistical compilation and dissemination.
-Handling of all printed matter including game-day programs and game notes.
-Managing the FC athletics website.
-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III reporting.
-Fulfilling requests of local, regional and national media.
-Compile and distribute releases both to the local media and hometowns of appropriate athletes.
-Maintain school records and archives.
-Coordinate radio and GrizTV broadcasts of all home athletic events, as well as serve as host for visiting radio.

Interview Policy
Working media who wish to interview a Franklin student-athlete, coach, or administrator should contact Thomas ( or 317-738-8184) to make arrangements. All interview requests must be submitted 24 hours in advance. It is the policy of the Franklin College sports information office that no student-athlete or coach be contacted directly by the media regarding an interview until a request is made through the FC sports information office. We reserve the right to decline further access to members of the media who contact student-athletes or coaches for interviews without the approval of the department. Game credentials and practice schedules may also be available through the Sports Information Office.

Internet Access
Wireless internet access is available inside the Spurlock Center,  Behrens Field (softball) and John P. McDowell Field (baseball). A wired internet connection is available in the press box at Faught Stadium (football, soccer, lacrosse).
